Getting to Know Our Volunteers! Pt.10

The Marmora & Lake Public Library is lucky to have so many dedicated and generous volunteers. Rachel is one of the volunteers you may see the next time you visit The Lunch Bowl program.

Name: Rachel Corbett

What do you do at the library?

I cook at The Lunch Bowl. I do odds and ends to improve the space (shelves, dropbox, more to come!). I also teach Mahjong.

Why do you volunteer at the library?

To give back to our great community! To meet new people, and to get to know seniors in our community.

What are 3 of your favourite books?

Where Rivers Change Direction by Mark Sprague

Anything by Craig Johnson (Longmire series)

Almost anything by Barbara Kingsolver

What fictional character are you most like?

Drawing a blank here! Sorry.

Fictional characers I really like (who are opposite of me) are Beth Dutton (Yellowstone) and Victoria Moretti (Longmire) - both very feisty BAD ASSES. NOT me at all. Which is why I like them.
