Scent Free Policy
If you are planning a trip to the library, please be aware of our Scent Free Policy. The Memorial Building is a scent-free building. For medical reasons we ask that no scented perfumes, colognes, after shave lotions, etc. be worn. Even a small amount can produce a severe allergic reaction. We also ask that you do not smoke immediately before entering, as cigarette odour is also a trigger. Thank you for considering the health of others.
Our Thanks
We would like to thank the Marmora Book Club, Margaret Webber, and Nick Price for their generous donations towards the purchase of a new microwave in the William Shannon Room. We appreciate it!
Friends of the Library General Meeting
Want to help your library? Come to the general meeting to find out how you can become a Friend. The meeting will be held in the William Shannon Room of the Memorial (Library) Building at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. All are welcome.
Ontario Public Library Week
October 16th to 22nd is Ontario Public Library Week. In the spirit of this year's theme, "Libraries Unbound", we have taken our celebration out of the normal library confines and on to the internet.
